127 Hours

This isn't a review for the movie or anything because I am not really good at that. I'm leaving that to the experts.

Check this review though; the interest I had in this movie sky rocketed after I watched this review. Click here!

I had the same trepidation Aron Ralston (played by James Franco) had when that boulder crushed half of his right arm. When he finally decided to just cut off that arm on the fifth day, I almost couldn't stomach the scene. But it made me realize something.

An amazing lesson can be learned from the mountaineer's experience with the boulder: You just shouldn't quit!

So what if you have no more right arm, you still have the left!

I mean, life shouldn't stop when you realize that you have this boulder on your right arm or there is this huge obstacle that's stopping you from doing what you wanted to do most!

Right now, I can't walk properly because I am still recuperating from the surgery I had early this month. I admit, it is stopping me from doing what I really love because I kinda involves walking. Well, it involves running, climbing, and jumping, too! A Civil Engineer absolutely needs his legs especially when he's out on the field.

Yeah, someday. And soon!!

It's about finding your passion. And of course, telling somebody where you will be going or else you will end up like the guy. Or worse; no one will be able to help you and you will die a horrible, horrible death. ^_^

But what the frakk was up with the cutting and the bloody mess he made with his arm!? @_@
